Children of God, Servant of God or Son of God. What you want to be. – Part III

In this blog, we will see the significance of becoming Son of God.

Psalm 91 Book

Son of God.

None of the Old Testament people acknowledge himself as a Son of God because it was blasphemy they considered.

And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death. Leviticus 24:16 (KJV)

They only called God as Lord, no one has called him as Father

It was Jesus who came and called him as Father and He taught His disciples to pray as Heavenly Father (Matthew:6:9). Because of this, they crucified Him.

The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God. John 19:7 (KJV)

Thou Jesus did many miracles still they didn’t accept him because they had this Law. (Deuteronomy 13).

Can we become Son of God?

Well then answer is, Of course, Yes, if we led by the Holy Spirit.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the
sons of God. Romans 8:14 (KJV)

We have to grow up from being Servant of God to Son of God because the servant doesn’t know where his master is going.

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. John 15:15 (KJV)

Jesus is not coming here on this earth to make us Servant of God, but instead of that, he calls us Friend and more than that He wants us to be a Son of God.

Jesus Christ has given us His Spirit (Spirit of Christ – Romans 8:9) and we have Spirit of Adoption ( Romans 8:15). So we are not in bondage. We are not an Orphan but we have Father and we are His Son and Daughter.

Son Of God will be heir in the Kingdom of God -

Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Galatians 4:7 (KJV)

How long you want to seat inside your church building and you want to be a Children of God or Servant of God. We have to grow up now as a
Son of God. Child seats and learn time appointed by Father then he moves on.

If we become Son of God then we will obey Jesus commandment and work for the Kingdom Of God.

I have chosen to become a Son of God and this is what I encourage people to become.

In the last blog we have seen about the Children of God in this blog we will see how we can grow as a Servant of God.

Servant of God.

Who is a Servant?

A Servant is a person working in an employer’s household (Wikipedia)

In the Old Testament, we have seen many Servants of God like Abraham, Moses, David etc.

O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
Psalm 105:6

Servant’s main duty is to serve the master, receive his order, follow his commandments. A true servant can become his Master heir if his master is childless

And Abram said, Lord God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? Genesis 15:2 (KJV)

In the new testament also we see many servants of God like Peter, Paul, Timothy etc.

The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. Acts 16:17 (KJV).

How I became servant of God –

After seating in the church for more than 3 years, I felt I should go somewhere and study bible and I should preach the word of God and serve the Lord.

I got an opportunity to attain Shekinah course for 15 days that has changed my life and soon after that I started preaching the word of God.

People started appreciating me the way I am preaching. After the preaching I use to pray for people they use to get heal, they use to receive Holy Spirit and I baptize many people.Few days later people started calling me as "

The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation."(He is a Servant of God).

Wow I was very happy to receive those comments and everywhere I use to go for preaching and for ministry work. My welcome was like “Prabhu k dass ka swagat kare” (Let’s welcome the Servant of God).

After being Servant of God for almost 4 years and traveling in India one thing I realize is that, it is not enough to be a Servant of God. There is more into it, and I started finding my answers in Bible and what I discovered " Prabhu ka dass ya Prabhu ka Beta - Kya banana Chahoge?" ( Servant of God or Son of God what you want to be?

Children of God, Servant of God or Son of God. What you want to be. – Part I

I come from the non-Christian background. Thanks, Jesus that He came in my life and become my Savior. Over this year I understood that there are few levels of maturity in Christian life. Children of God, Servant of God and Son of God.

Psalm 91 Book

I will be sharing my view on this 3 levels of maturity in Christian walk.

Children of God.

Every creature in this world are created by our Heavenly Father. So everyone has only Father (Father in Heaven).

Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?
Malachi 2:10 (KJV)

When we were small our family members taught us that he is our father, mother , brother, sister and so on. This is how we learn and we accept them as our Father, mother etc.

In the case of God we have a choice to accept Jesus as a Savior OR we can reject Him.. It is through Grace we can accept Him as our Lord and Savior and when we accept Him we become Children of God.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
John 1:12 (KJV)

Childern of God, Servant of God or Son of God.

It is this first step to enter into the Kingdom of God. Very necessary and we have to grow up step by step through

1) Prayer
2) Fellowship
3) Praise and Worship
4) Bible reading
5) Attaining Church service
6) Conventions
7) Crusades
8) Bible College etc.

Starting from a Milk Food to the Meat Food.

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God, and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Hebrews 5:12 to 14 (KJV).

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

What is Love? Love is God. Heavenly Father Want everyone should come to Him and that is why He gave His Love, His only begotten Son to us.

Psalm 91 Book

Heavenly Father doesn’t have many sons but He has only one Son and that Son He gave to this world. Why did He do this? Because of Love towards us.

Love is everlasting, Love is never-ending. Love does not expect anything, Love is for everyone, Love is true and Love is not blind. Love has feelings.

Love has senses, Love has power, and Love has strength. Only through Love God wants to draw each and everyone towards Him. Love is the highest form of giving.

In this bible verse, it doesn’t say that I will Love or in the future, I will think and then decide to Love. No, but it says God so loved.

Though we were a sinner, though we forget Him, though we didn’t know anything about Him, though we didn’t give respect to Him, from that time He has Loved us.

Love is God because Love dwells in God. Love melts hearts, Love doesn’t argue, Love doesn’t hate, Love, don’t judge. Love doesn’t condemn.

What do we understand by the word “SO”? So means big, it is uncountable, immeasurable. It is high above the sky. That much Love Heavenly Father has for us.
